Calling All Volunteers!
Putting on an event like the Brookhaven Bolt is a massive undertaking, and we are always looking for individuals willing to help register participants prior to the event as well as on Race Day. If you can commit your time before the Bolt and during Race Day on May 20th, our volunteer positions include:
Pre-Race Opportunities:
– Working booth at Brookhaven Farmers Market for signups
– Packet pickup at Big Peach Ride + Run Brookhaven
During the Race:
– 5-10 volunteers to hold pace signs at start of race and assist with staggered start times
Race Day Set-Up:
– 5am start time to hang banners, set up tables and tents, direct vendors and assist vendors setting up
Post-Race Clean-Up:
– Tear down tents and tables, trash pickup, remove banners and load extra drinks for donation
Note: All volunteers receive a FREE 2023 Brookhaven Bolt T-Shirt.

The Brookhaven Bolt is a 5K Run/Walk/Stroller push through one of Brookhaven’s most beautiful neighborhoods, Ashford Park. The 2023 race will be held on Saturday, May 20th with an 8am start time. All proceeds from this annual event go to support Ashford Park Elementary School.
